2. Aren’t there similar products? What makes Scour Guards ® different?
The unique round bottom and durable material, we urge you to compare our liners to the others. This round bottom allows one size bag to fit several different size pots and pans. The entire product line is four sizes, from a 1/6- 4 quart round up to a full size, 6” deep Hotel pan, only four items to inventory. The round bottom design also prevents food from getting into corners and burning.
3. Can I cook in Scour Guards ® pan liners?
Scour Guards ® are engineered for heating and holding at a maximum temperature of 250 degrees F. They are intended for use in steam tables, serving pans, and soup pots.
4. How do I use Scour Guards?
Scour Guard ® disposable pan liners are simple and easy to use. Simply place the liner inside an empty pan and fold the excess material over the sides. Prepare your food products as you normally would.
5. How long can I leave food in the Scour Guard ® ?
For food safety reasons we recommend that you change the Scour Guard ® Liner every 6-8 hours.
6. Can I reheat my left over food in the Scour Guard ® the next day?
We recommend that you transfer your reheated food into a new Scour Guard ® daily and discard used liner.
7. Are Scour Guards ® safe?
Yes, Scour Guards ® are made of a FDA approved materials certified for food contact use and are NSF certified ® . Our products have undergone extensive testing and conform to Food and Drug Administration regulation CFR 177.1520. They also give you comfort in knowing that you are serving from a sanitary surface every time.
